Try before you buy
A vast majority of our rugs are offered in sample sizes so you can touch and feel the product before ordering the larger size. If the sample is unavailable we encourage you to order the smallest size (usually a 2'x3'). The smaller size will help you decide whether or not you have the correct colors before you invest in a larger size rug. We just ask you to narrow your choice to no more than a couple. Once you've made a decision, you can return the sample or small area rug and order the correct size, and Rug Goddess will credit the price of the sample towards the larger size rug. If you do not make a purchase you will only be responsible for the shipping cost. This is a unique benefit for Rug Goddess shoppers. However we do find a lot of our clients will end up keeping the smaller rug for another area such as a kitchen sink area or bath, or simply to have a swatch to transport easily for color matching. But if you prefer to return the small sample, just let us know within 15 days and we'll send you return shipping instructions. Return shipping for a 2'x3' rug will typically average $20-$30, versus $125-$250 for larger rugs. Rugs 8 ft. wide or wider are not returnable because they ship common carrier.
Some items may ship directly from the manufacturer within 5-7 days. If you need quick ship please contact us for a quote we would be happy to do accommodate for an additional charge. Typically, you can expect your rug to arrive within 7 to 14 business days, unless it falls on a holiday then please allow extra time. If, for some reason, your order is delayed, we will keep you informed via email, then monitor your order until it's delivered to you. Keep in mind larger rugs (over 8 ft. & wider) are considered too large for UPS or FedEx and will ship via truck line therefore may take extra time and are not returnable.
If your area rug order doesn't meet your expectations for any reason, return it for a refund within 15 days of receiving. We do not have restocking fees or hidden charges. If you need to return, you are responsible for the shipping expenses, unless the product is clearly defective and brought to our attention within 15 days. To return simply contact the Tampa studio at 352-503-9410 and let us know why you want to return it and we will provide you a return authorization number to ship back the merchandise. Make sure to include all original packaging w/labels when returning. Once your rug has been received back we will issue a refund of your purchase price, less the shipping. Refunds will be issued within 7-10 days of the merchandise being received.
Note: We will refuse any return if….
• It has been damaged or soiled
• It has been shipped after 15 days of receipt.
NOTE: Personalized, custom made, oversized rugs (8 ft. & wider), and or sale/clearance rugs are not returnable unless there is a defect in which of course we will happy to provide you with a replacement of the rug you ordered or if the rug is no longer available then something similar in value.
